Meet Luca

Luca is our oldest son — determined, loyal, and the kind of person who keeps going no matter what.

From a young age, Luca has had a quiet strength about him. When he sets his mind to something, he gives it his all and refuses to give up. That determination has shaped not only who he is, but also the example he sets for those around him.

Big Brother

For Eli, Luca is more than just a big brother — he’s a hero. Many of Eli’s cricket skills can be traced back to time spent copying Luca, watching him play, and wanting to be just like him. Cricket has become one of the many ways the two of them connect.

Of course, like any siblings, their relationship includes its fair share of brotherly squabbles. But when it truly matters, Luca stands firmly in Eli’s corner. He is one of Eli’s biggest protectors and advocates, always ready to support him in ways that only a big brother can.

Where It Began

The Luca Sock is where it all began.

Luca is always up for a challenge, so when we asked him to design a sock that represented what Included means to him, he jumped at the opportunity. His idea and creativity sparked something bigger than we imagined.

That design became the World Down Syndrome Day Sock 2024 — the very pair that started this journey and set everything in motion.

The Luca Sock represents courage, loyalty, and the powerful role siblings play in building a world where everyone belongs.
