Meet Pola
A Special Family
Some of the most meaningful stories begin with the people who grow alongside you. Pola’s family was one of the very first families to attend our Included events, and from the start they brought such warmth, dedication, and belief in their daughter.
Over time we’ve had the joy of watching Pola grow. Every milestone she reaches reflects not only her determination, but also the love and encouragement that surrounds her. Pola has a beautiful eagerness to learn and explore the world around her, approaching new experiences with curiosity and excitement.
Her Smile
Being around Pola is something special. Her smile lights up the room wherever she goes, and she shares her happiness freely through warm hugs and sweet kisses.
At just four and a half years old, Pola is already wonderfully creative and full of energy. She loves expressing herself through colour, imagination, and play. When we asked her parents if Pola could help inspire our World Down Syndrome Day Sock for 2026, they encouraged her to do what she loves most — draw her favourite things.
Her World
Through her artwork, Pola showed us her world: a colourful rainbow, a bright shining sun, and cheerful flowers growing below.
The Pola Sock
From that drawing, the Pola Sock was born. What began as a little girl’s joyful artwork has become a design that celebrates inclusion.
And at the heart of it all is Pola — a little girl whose smile and imagination continue to inspire everyone around her.
